Okay so I didn’t go, but my bike is broken. Starter still has not been repaired, got the new parts Friday at 15:00. By 18:00 I had the covers all off my flywheel and was looking at a 127 ft lb nut with no way to hold the flywheel still while I took it off and no flywheel puller. So to the shop it goes. TheRage in the gage did not look all that grand by the web site, smae vendors as last year, country music, no biker games, 50$/couple, not even an organized ride. I was not impressed, should have tried to outdo last year guys not make a mockery of it.

Tripping around the Maritimes

So we just returned from a whirlwind tour of the maritimes. We went to Peggy’s Cove. Stayed at the Oceanside B&B in West Dover, highly reccomended. Took tonnes of pics at Peggy’s Cove, ate at Shaws Landing, very nice place. Got a COstco membership in Halifax, spent a lot of money there, glad we had the truck and then went to PIE. We stayed at the James for two nights and went to church, walked Beach Point Beach, checked out an abandoned house and barn. Then on Monday we played Golf in PEI, did the go karts at Burlington Fun Park, and the Haunted House that was Kensington Gardens. Ohh adn we rode horses in Brudenell Park. What an awesome weekend.

Scenic Trips and Sore Butts

So those of you who don’t know, I bought a motorcycle in May. Since then I have taken my safety course and started riding. I have put on over 10,000 kms on my bike in this summer so far. I have bought new tires and today I wil be buying a new air filter. I have driven to various parts of Ontario from Oromocto, NB twice and most recently from Chicoutimi, QC. I will update this blog with my travelogues and views as I see fit.
